I want to begin by thanking you for taking the time to visit our site. It means a great deal to me that you are here, exploring what we are building together. This foundation was born from both personal experience and a deep belief in what our youth represent—the future.

My own upbringing taught me how powerful support can be, especially when it feels missing. Over time, through my journey of growth and the reflections I shared in my memoir: The Blessing of Transition: Finding Strength in Change, I discovered just how strongly my heart is tied to our youth. I know firsthand how important it is to feel seen, supported, and understood. And I also know how damaging it can be when that support is absent.

JVB Cares Foundation exists to ensure that children never feel alone in navigating the challenges of mental health, identity, and belonging. Our mission is clear: to make mental health a priority in children’s lives and to create spaces where their voices matter more than their screens. Because children are not only our future—they are our cornerstone today.
